Elsewhere, "The Meaning of Soul" is described guitarist Noel Gallagher as "Elvis on Red Bull," while the single "Lyla" is said to approximate "the Soundtrack of Our Lives doing the Who on Skol in a psychedelic city in the sky (or something!)." Cuban percussionist Lenny Castro guests on "Part of the Queue," which Noel claims "doesn't sound remotely like anything we've ever done before." "Don't Believe the Truth" is due May 30 internationally via Big Brother and the next day in North America via Epic. In support, Oasis will play its first North American shows in three years, beginning June 17 in Toronto. That run will be preceded U.K. headlining dates and European festival appearances, including three sold-out stadium shows in the band's Manchester hometown. source: billboard.com
I read that earlier today. "Lyla" is set to be the first single from the album too. I'm not a fan of Oasis though. At all.
Who wants to bet we'll see another Gallagher brothers feud conveniently happen weeks before the release.
