Shoulda posted the link to the actual Noobz website: noobz.eu ;)

    Sony gets pwned again. ^_^

I already downgraded my PSP from 2.80 the other day with their downgrader. Now I'm running Dark_AleX's 3.03OE-C. :D

Noobz are great, they made it so easy. :)

So wait....with the 3.03OE-C you can put EBOOT's of PSP game Iso's on the system and play them? I tried and it didn't work.

Yeah. You put the ISOs in X:\ISO (i typo'd it earlier), and then they show up under Game > Memory Card.

Just the ISO itself or converted into an EBOOT? I tried putting the ISO on the card, it started the game but then gave me the "Game could not be started" error.

    ISO. Don't convert to EBOOT.

Try sticking in an UMD, then trying. Don't ask.

OH SNAP! It worked! I'm now playing Tony Hawk's Project 8 with Killzone: Liberation's UMD in the drive. Sweet. Thanks for the advice!

Hah, yeah. I kinda accidentally figured that out somehow. After I upgraded, I tried throwing in a game to see if everything would run smooth, which it did, then I never took it out. Somewhere along the line, I wondered what would happen if I took out my game, and I got the error. I guess what we're doing is pretty much tricking the firmware to think it's reading off the UMD while instead, it's actually reading the ISO. Something like that, I guess.

Now all I need to learn is how to shrink game ISO's down into smaller files and I'll be set!

    Ditto.

Although, apparently PowerISO, which I coincidentally have installed on my computer, can compress ISO's...

I have that, and I heard MagicISO (which I am currently testing out) can do the same. I'll let you know.

Mmkay, thanks. PISO seems to compress to .daa

I wonder if PSPs can read .daa...

    ISO - 1.16GB
    DAA - 845MB

    Now the big question:

    Will it blend?

*attempts to compress as iso* Wonder if it'll work...

Damn 512mb memory stick. Hell even with a 1gb stick, it's tough to fit these things onto the PSP.

Yeah, with Burnout + NFSMW + Tomb Raider, I only have 2MB left. Then again, I also have a hour long mix on there, which is 90MB, lol.
