This song is inspired by a competition play in my school yesterday. Three plays were chosen to go on out of about 9 and we weren't chosen. Dreams Never Crushed I thought this was our time Our moment to shine I was sure we would make A victorious year We were all appalled The fact that we weren’t called To stay on our path To this year’s success. At first we looked down Walked out with a frown I was sure that our dreams Wouldn’t be crushed Our dreams weren’t crushed And they will never be Because in our spirits The show must go on. Even though we worked All day and year We hoped that this day Would bring us some cheer All our cast and crew None of us were through So we kept our heads high And hoped for next year.
