Has anyone heard of this email list?

My mum discovered it a few years ago and basically it's for people who want free, second hand stuff, and the only thing you have to do is pick it up from the person's place. It runs worldwide. I've picked up a number of things, including a complete nursery for my child, a living room set for a friend and nifty things.

Just type your location in and it will come up with your region.

i.e. this is what I get after typing my location in.

I almost got a 1960s Sears amp from Freecycle. But the dude who promised to hold it for me decided he wasn't ready to give it up.

    Thus, I hate Freecycle.

My parents use to use free cycle a lot. They got some tables and some couches, and gave some things away.
