Been to a gig / show lately? Post about it here. Seether @ Mean Fiddler, London 19/10/04. On Tuesday i travelled to London to see Seether play, we got down to London for about 12:30pm and began our wait. Queing up was slightly boring but it went rather fast. At about 3:00pm the tour bus Seether were travelling in pulled up out front. Shaun, Dale & Pat came out, so i went over and spoke to them and shook their hands and got photographs and the like. They were very humble people and had no problem taking photos and whatnot, thye were very down to earth and seemed like pretty cool people. Moments later John (Drummer) came off the bus, he had just woken up, but he was cool and took pictures. He was also wearing a Breaking Benjamin top, so we had a little chat about that. I was so happy to meet them, my luck with meeting bands isn't the best in the past. Anyway, we waited until 7:00pm for the doors to open. When they did i took a place at front center. The support band were Kevin Martin & The Hiwatts, they played well, but wasn't really my type of music. They did some Bush bashing during their set, which got a huge response from the crowds, although, i doubt half of them had any real knowledge of polotics. Eventually Seether came on, and they were brilliant. They opened w/ Gasoline, 69 Tea, Needles...During the set they played Three new tracks off of their upcoming new album, they also played a Nirvana cover "You Know Your Right" which was interesting. Mainly because Shaun began smashing the guitar at the end of it. My personal favorites of the night were "Hang On", "Your Bore", "Cigarettes" & "Fine Again". The only flaw, if i had to choose, was they didn't play "F*ck It" or "Love Her", but i don't mind because they played an amazing set list anyway. They also did an acoustic of Broken. All in all, the show was amazing, although half of the people were only there for broken, note, the broken chants during Encore, i refused and started chanting "play what the f*ck you want!", didn't have the same ring to it, but, there you go. It was brilliant. Throughout the gig i took pics & video's with a friends digital camera, check them out here.
