I haven't listened to the multi-tracks, but that bass-line at the end of the song, is that the real one from GATS?

 

Yep. The entire bass line up until the beginning of Rakim's verse plays throughout the song. I put the bass track in first and built the remix around it. I couldn't do anything with Rakim's verse, I tried but gave up, and left it at 3 minutes.

 

That's fine, it sounds really good! I think it's a really cool, unique idea to have a drum-inspired remix (as a drummer myself)!

 

Thanks I'm thinking of adding a bit with Rakim's verse if I can make it sound good.
