Many of you may have remembered this article from about four years ago: http://www.lpassociation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16565 It put my family under world spotlight, and had every news agency from ABC, CNN, Fox etc trying to call us for comment on the story. Unfortunately due to legal issues surrounding the auction (our auctioneer saying it was given to us by Keith's aunt when it wasnt. SOMETHING WE NEVER SUGGESTED, CLAIMED OR EVEN PROPOSED HE SHOULD SAY.) the sale never took place and it's hung up in our antique market ever since, where it's stayed until tonight. Tonight, the painting that has been the subject of so much debate, will be going on ebay for a starting bid of 99 cents. We are putting it that low because we feel that anybody who wants this painting and believes it to be a Haring original to have a chance. Who knows, maybe this is the one work from Keith that has never been printed, and maybe it will end at over 100 grand. That or 99 cents. By March 8th, we will know. Keep a close eye! The link to the eBay listing will be posted later tonight. AP Article regarding the NEW auction: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gh4ONSTnu8Z2Q2V93ZXSpCpfnwJgD96K5S700
