The man who killed DAMAGEPLAN/PANTERA guitarist ’DIMEBAG’ DARRELL ABBOTT had fought with the band’s entourage on a previous occasion, it has been revealed.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Abbott was one of four people murdered by gunman Nathan Gale at the Alrosa Villa Club last year (December 8).

Now, police in Cincinnati have claimed Gale had an onstage fight with security during a show at Bogart's Nightclub a year ago.

The Associated Press report that Gale jumped on stage on April 5 last year, and caused $1,800 damage to equipment during a fracas with security. He was then removed from the stage.

However, no charges were brought at the time
