hey all, i recently posted a topic on what album to get and the general consensus was to get Seether-Karma and Effect. however i can only listen to the one song ,remedy, on my pc and i was wondering if the rest of the album is heavy enough for my tastes. in terms of heavyness i like stuff like slipknot, killswitch engage, still remains, things like that.

so my question is : is Karma and Effect heavy enough for me to like it, or should I get Disturbed or Meshuggah as I now they're heavy enough for my liking...

    help much appreciated...

The album has a good balance, but i can't help but feel you'd probably be happier with Disturbed etc. The album has some "hard" tracks such as "Because Of Me", "Remedy", "Burrito", "World Falls Away", "Simplest Mistake"... but these tracks are only hard compared to the rest of the album, where as compared to a band like Disturbed / Slipknot, they're not hard at all.

If you want "hard" music, then i reccomend Disturbed, although, Karma & Effect is an amazing album and should't be put down because of a couple of slower tracks. If you like Remedy then you'll love the album so much more.

Just get the damn album! You already have the cover in your sig!

hmm, i dunno remedy's one of those songs i really like but i don't think i'd listen to enough to warrant spending money on it. kinda like New Found Glory's stuff...i like it for a couple of months but then get bored of it...i think i'll just go with disturbed or meshuggah as i know i'll listen to them both for longer...
