I am having some trouble with my Chemistry homework. Even if you are not taking Chemistry, you can still help me. I have this project that I have to do. In my school we have this thing called "shops". Examples are Business, Criminal Justice, Child Development etc. I am in the Business shop (the best shop ever! ) and for Chemistry you have to pick a topic to talk about that relates Chemistry to your shop, mine is Business. I am very bad at coming up with ideas for projects so I was wondering if any of you can help me? I just need some topics that I could pick from relating Chemistry to the Business world. It would be much appreciated for anyones help. Thanks.
Heh, chemistry will be the death of me. Ermm, we had some research to do in chemistry.. Some of the topics were about neon signs (the neon, krypton, mercury, etc. gases in them) and how the photoelectric effect is used in some cameras and fax machines.
Maybe you could try researching how medicines etc are actually sold. You might get extra marks if you talk about legal and illegal ways of selling - I'm not sure, I don't take chemistry - but those are my thoughts if they help out a little =P
I like Magick's idea. Talk about how the "neon signs" aren't all "neon signs." The color of the sign depends on the gas that is inside of the tubing. They're not all neon. It's actually what I'd do.
