Writing: In The Stillness

A silence grips me
as the piercing sound
stabs my insides

Small cascading water
flows from my eyes
gently leaving imprints
on my heart forever

You remember me

And in the stillness
of my breaking mind
I find you
holding me still
whispering

I remember you

as the small cascading

all around us

Bound


You fight me
I am innocent
of your blood

Staring in the night
forgetful promises
to be made

Falling upside down
these tears I've cried
for you

This fading flower growing
on the vine
is our love
as it squeezes the
life from my veins

Bound

as I lye on the floor
the life lifting
from my eyes

Laws of Illusion


As I begin to fade into you
The sky grows dark
as if it knows that once
we join our souls
the stars will speak

They will sing a melody
of the purest light

The laws of mankind become
the laws of illusion
when we dance against
the night
catching the rain in my hands
washes away the pain
as I begin to fade into you.

Never have I felt so safe
the way I felt lying there

The way my heart sang

evermore

Then the years passed by
the isolation set in

My insecure delusions take over
the days as sleepless nights
bring a terror to a new kind of
nightmare

When I realize the days gone
by and you are gone forever
