Eh, he's okay. I liked Cindy Chang better.

Really? I disagree. Her voice is great, but there are tons of better opera singers than her. Her voice is really wobbly and the tone isn't that good compared to some other sopranos. On the other hand, Landau has one of the smoothest voices ever in Jazz. His voice is unique, and he has his own style. :p

Unique voice? Not really. It's the swag of Frank Sinatra mixed with a little bit of a smoker's rasp and a healthy dose of every single lounge singer I've ever seen.

EDIT: Having actually checked how the show is doing (since I don't actually watch the show), I can see why Cindy got sent home. However I like the emotion she puts into her performances. Landau is talented, but I just feel he's very MEH.

I really disagree about your opinion about Landau because his voice imo, has one of the smoothest tones for a male singer. Yes, it's husky and deep, but it's so smooth. So much emotion too. He has the swag of Frank Sinatra with a different touch. Something unique.

Yeah, Cindy was good ,but her song choice was just awful.
