From this point forward if people continue to post links to the From The Inside video after we've kindly told them time and time again STOP posting links to websites for the video, the appropriate action will be taken. We've been kind enough about this but some people don't seem to care that we could get our website shut down over this. We've had people try to defy the staff by posting the link in threads not involving the video or by posting the links in thier signature. Just today Alex had to close probably the 20th thread concerning this video and it's about time we start being a little tough on this matter to keep people from basically breaking the law and posting the video on the net illegally. I wouldn't be posting this, but as you know we've said no spam in every thread there is about this video yet people still can't take a hint. Please understand it makes our jobs a nightmare when we have to continously delete ILLEGAL links to the video, and its either we do this or get shut down, and I dont know about you but I want the LPA to be around in two years.

I really don't get it, you know. A site like the LPA, who tries their best to be nice about problems, gets lashed out. It's like, would you rather them yell at you and tell you you're freaking annoying for doing the same sh*t someone did a few hours, days, or minutes before you? No, they take your feelings into consideration and tell you to not spam. What I am about to say is on my behalf and may be harsh, but I'm tired of this. Anyone who goes against authority's word is immature, and for that, I am disappointed in some members. Some members are either just coming here to spam their sites, or things the LPA staff asks you NOT to do. But what do they do? They do it anyways. That's such a nice way to act in public. You can be a 'punk,' just don't be a punk here. You can go ahead and trash your room yelling that the world sucks and you want to die, but when it comes to other people, don't suck them into your problems, really. I think for a fact, people are dilberating making our job here hard. Look at what people who spam have done to sites like ForgottenInfantry (I think) and that Mikeshinoda.net site. Both were targets of some higher legal power and no matter what you say, the higher powered people will over rule you. LPA is one of the largest remaining sites on the net, and it's one of the few that are able to do things for you like no other. Trust me. From first being anti against this site, to becoming a communist, to becoming privledged to be part of the staff, I now see how hard these people work for you. For people who work their asses off for you, some of you have lousy ways of showing appreciation. And this may sound mean but, if you don't like it, either deal with it, try to change the problem, or just leave. Back on subject though. Why do spammers have to constantly be like this? Let's see you guys go to LP.com's forums and spam the link. Your ass would be banned on spot for illigal sh*t. I hope you don't think people will call you 'cool' for ripping Linkin Park off. I hope you don't think Sparkart will like you after that kind of stunt. I know about bad stunts with Sparkart for I was there and Slice is really serious about this stuff. Trust me, I've been around the LP-world-like place a while and I basically know how things go. I've been in the bad situations, ones that include Sparkart or any other legal problem. I've been here, I've watched this site grow from the ground up, and I've seen the behind-the-scenes of this website. Some of us fail to realize the greatness and ignorance all mixed in this one community. I really honestly think some of us just crave that attention of saying "I have the video." Big freaking deal, so you have a music video. I'd treasure it instead of putting it out there like a parent putting their kid out there for sex. Some of us give Linkin Park fans a bad name, I'm sorry to say. </rant>

Posting the link is very serious and if you don't believe the admins, mods, team or anyone else who says the site can be shut down. But to show how serious posting the link is, fansites have been shut down for posting a link to it, and to give an example (Doesn't want to be yelled at for 'spamming' ) A Joe Hahn fansite has actually been shut down for hosting the video...

They haven't been shut down. They just took down the video download. What most likely happened is LP.com contacted them and told them to either take it down or be shut down and they complied.
We just banned three people today posting the link and we will ban anyone else who dares to try such a stunt. We don't care if the link poster has posted a lot, you post it and you're GONE. People can't realize that the only damn reason we wont allow links is because the single isn't out yet! FROM THE INSIDE WAS LEAKED EARLY ON EUROPEAN TELEVISION. Why do you think lp.com is contacting websites and telling them to remove the frickin thing? They didn't do that for Numb and why? Because it was released on schedule!!! So either stop posting links or you will join the fates of many other rule breaking fools that have been banned over this issue.
