Live 8 Concert in Canada

Most of you probably heard the rumors of a Live 8 concert being held in Canada. It's been confirmed, as well as the line-up.

Canadian Stars Sign On For New Live 8 Show

The Canadian edition of Bob Geldof's Live 8 concerts will be held July 2 at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario. The lineup features a who's-who of Canadian music, including Celine Dion (via satellite from Las Vegas), Bryan Adams, Our Lady Peace, Barenaked Ladies and Gordon Lightfoot.

Also on the bill will be Great Big Sea, the Tragically Hip, Blue Rodeo, Billy Talent, Jann Arden, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, Simple Plan, Tegan & Sara, Bruce Cockburn and Tom Cochrane, as well as veteran American rock act Motley Crue.

Canadian actors/comedians Dan Aykroyd and Tom Greene will host the event.
