I think Linkin Park will be writing new material soon because, if you look at the tour dates page on LPA, they have almost all December off, besides a few select shows.
Yeah I bet you they are. But also they could be seeing their families I mean, it is the holiday season.
They don't need time off to write. They write and record ideas even while touring in the back of their bus. I'd guess they have a few different ideas laid down already. The only time off they need is to actually go into a studio and record it professionally.
Its really unfortunate though that it takes them so long to write new material!! If they start writing this winter, it'll take them until what, Mid-2005 to get it done???
