Okay, see if you can guess what it's about. I'm sort of testing myself. I don't want to be too obvious with the meaning of something, but I want to get the general emotion through.

    Constructive criticism is very welcome.

    Memorial Day (Hello Ceceilia)

    Got a ride through Boston
I brought you flowers again this year
Wish I could have known you
I wish you could meet me here

You're always in the same street
    You might be expecting me
    They're cutting grass around you
These flowers only last a week

    Before they take them away
    I've never met you
    But I've read your name
    Before Memorial Day

The ground was cold to my feet
I wonder if you're cold underneath
    I thought of conversations
Of words you'll never say to me

    Swear I remember your face
I feel I know you in a way
    I know I won't forget you
But it's hard for me to relate

    To their memories
    Cause I've never met you
    I never saw your face
    Before Memorial Day

I took a picture above you
    To remember names and dates
And if you had the eyes to look
You'd see the smile on my face

    I see you in me
    I've never met you
    But I wear your face
    After memorial day
