Just a few days out from the beginning of Linkin Park's South American tour leg in support of From Zero, Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong have appeared as interview guests with Luciano Vargas at Peruvian radio station Studio 92, out of Lima. One of the highlighted moments of the short interview is a callback to a moment from Studio 92's 2017 interview with Linkin Park when the band last visited Peru, during the One More Light World Tour. While chatting with Shinoda and Rob Bourdon, the interview hosts had shared a trending parody cover of "Numb" recorded by the late Peruvian artist Tongo. Shinoda particularly found humor in the cover, and mentioned it should be played for the post-show—which reportedly did happen according to some attendees on setlist.fm. He then shared the video on his Twitter account later that month. Outside of Tongo, the co-vocalists discuss the band's return, the upcoming show being Armstrong's first time in Peru, and a little about what fans attending the show in Lima can look forward to in just six days.
