    Hey Guys!
Check out my music at soundcloud.
this is my new demo called "Beatmaker"

It's pretty much a mix of some 8-bit sounds, MIDI drums and some realistic synths.
Just want to let you know that I'm ready for some (constructive) criticism.
If you want, there are some other stuff on my channel too, so make yourself at home.

    Peace

I love this kind of music. I've been up for 42 hours straight and I feel like I'm tripping out. I'll need to listen to this when/if I wake up. I'll follow you on SoundCloud.

Also, are all your drums vst's? I'm terrible with making beats from an actual drum set.

I'm really diggin the Muse cover, too.

Yeah, actually all drums are Vst's. The ones from 'Beatmaker' are even the default MIDI drumkit lol.
Can't play crap in a real drum kit haha.
    Thanks a lot for enjoying.

You've got some very good stuff on your channel. Loved the soudscapes

    following you back

I don't even know how to play a drumkit with vst's. That's one of the reasons I use hip hop or industrial beats almost all the time haha.

Have you been making stuff long? Your guitar playing must be pretty good if you covered Plug In Baby.

I think I started writing in 2008. Kinda hard to say because initially, I start an idea, work a little on it.
Then I get tired of it and just throw it in one of my folders haha. (this demo for instance, it's been like 4 months since I last edited it)

Eventually I get it 'finished' and put it up online.

about the guitars, I've been playing for about 1.5 year. I don't think I'm more than average at it, mostly because I've never had any classes.
And the drum programming can really be a pain in the ass (and time consuming)

Lol. That's how I work most of my stuff. I'm lucky if I make more than a couple minutes of a song before I just start on something else and leave it behind.

I just don't know how to play the drums or how people play them, so I don't know how to arrange any of the beats from a drumkit. I wish I knew how just for the sake of knowing in case I ever wanted to use them in a song. I suppose I could just read up on it on Google haha. That would be too simple, I guess.
