need help with english resume

Hello everyone ! I'm Jean, I'm new over here.. well I read this forum very often, but it's the first time I post.
That's what I'd like to ask you guys. Can somebody be kind enough to help me with my resume of one english test that I will be passing in 2 days.
Here is the part that I should make the resume of.
"

American gun companies are too powerful to be prosecuted

Approximately two-thirds of the nation is in favour of stricter gun controls. But for all the nation’s democratic principles, in this case majority opinion counts for nothing. This is because the gun manufacturers have most of America’s politicians in their pocket. It costs money to get elected in America ($50 million for a Senate campaign is not unknown), and gun manufacturers are a major source of money. As a result, the laws are manipulated in their favour.
Consider, for example, the difference between a real gun and a toy gun.
In 1972, a Consumer Safety Commission was created to ensure that products complied with norms of safety.
Children’s toys are subject to strict standards, and are tested by the Commission for every imaginable accident, danger or misuse before it allows them onto the market.
Furthermore, if a toy gun causes an accident, an American citizen has the right to sue the toy manufacturer for damages. This, of course, is the case for all products sold in America. Except one ...
In 1972, one product was specifially exempted from control by the Consumer Safety Commission: guns. So there are no legal safety controls at all imposed on gun manufacturers. Not even child locks, which might prevent some of the 17000 accidental injuries and 1000 accidental deaths caused by guns each year in the USA.
Wait - we haven’t got to the incredible part yet.
In april of this year, while attention was focused on the war in Iraq, America’s politicians voted to pass a law called H.R. 1036. What this law does is simple – it grants gun manufacturers legal immunity. Most American citizens don’t know this, but the manufacturers are no longer liable for their products. They are now above the law.
Think about it: the toy gun manufacturer has done everything he can to make his product safe, but he can be sued for millions if an accident nevertheless happens. The real gun manufacturer has done nothing – he has sold people a gun, intended to be kept in the house without even a child safety lock on it, and if (as has frequently happend) a child finds that gun and accidentally kills themself or someone else ... well, too bad.

Limiting gun sales “is an attack on civil liberties”

But wait – now comes the incredible part. Let’s go back on those terrorists buying guns.
President Clinton, one of the few politicians who tried to address America’s gun problem, made it a legal obligation to keep a record of each gun that was sold and who bought it. This seems a reasonable minimum, although the gun manufacturers said it was an attack on people’s civil liberties.
In the name of combatting terrorism, meanwhile, President Bush has granted the FBI the power to tap people’s phones, to consult their madical, financial and other records, and eroded civil liberties like no president before him. With one exception: it has become illegal for the FBI to consult the record of gun sales. Which, just possibly, could be useful to their investigations.
Should we be paranoid about all this, or is it simply that America is about business, and guns are big business? Is that why nothing – absolutely nothing – is allowed to stop that business booming?

“You can’t criticize guns”

Because boom it has – the September 11 attacks have proved a bonanza for the gun manufacturers. Sales of firearms have rocketed by around 90% since the attacks, and the gun control lobby, which had been making progress under Clinton, has been effectively silenced.
Why? Because to criticize America’s gun culture is to criticize American nation itself.
And it’s not patriotic to criticize the American way of life when the nation is at war because ... well, that only helps the terrorists, for God’s sake!

Here the resume I've made:
"A big majority of Americans support stricter gun controls. But the government doesn't seem to be listening to the nation. The reason for this is the fact that politicians get money for the elections from gun manufacturers, that's why they're easily controlled by them. All products in USA are subject to be tested by the CSC. In order to ensure the safety. If any product causes a damage to someone, the producter can be sued in justice. That conserns all products exept one, guns ! The went even further, they've voted a law saying that the gun manufacturers are no more responsable for their products. That shows that nothing seems to be able to stop the rising of gun demand."
You see , I know that my text is horrible, but I want it to be almost perfect, so I can pass my oral and resume easily, because it's very important for me. Can someone check and change my resume a little bit? I would be really pleased. Thx
P.S. Don't laugh at my text =), I'm not really strong in english, I'm just learning.

I only know of one type of resume, which is a personal resume of work experience, education, etc. Maybe you mean essay?

Good luck getting help, I don't know many people who want to do other's homework for free

However, I skimmed through it, and it seemed fine to me. What exactly do you want help with? Grammar?
