Linkin Park's Emily Armstrong stuns in a new photooshoot for British quarterly publication Hunger Magazine. The shots were captured by one of Armstrong's personal friends, Brian Bowen Smith, and presented in an piece titled "Emily Armstrong is urgent and unapologetic" which serves as the cover story for the magazine's upcoming October issue. Smith is a Los Angeles-based fine-arts photographer who is known for his portraits of celebrities. Within the few paragraphs of copy accompanying the images, he explains that he and his wife are two of Armstrong's closest confidants, among the very first to learn from her that she was joining Linkin Park as a band member. Some of the images from the photoshoot were shot outdoors in the Los Angeles county, specifically the Agoura Hills area, intentionally chosen for its significance in Linkin Park's history. The other shots, Smith explains, were simply done using a setup in his backyard. Armstrong wears a mix of designer pieces from the likes of Marc Jacobs and Saint Laurent, alongside clothes from retailers like J. Crew. You can check out the rest of the photoshoot here. Finally got a chance to read this, and see the photos. I don't really focus on this much, because I listen to her voice more than I look up music videos/photos: but as this is a modeling shoot, may I just say our queen is stunning. Unsure which outfit I like more, the leather jacket and dress combo or the the one with the (I'm assuming faux since she's vegan) fur jacket.
