    New world politics
    Corruption, cruel tricks
    Capitalism, business
    I have to resist them

    Verse 1:
    The greedy kingdom
    People lured to stardom
    Fame is cultures' goal
    Needless wars take its toll
    Never mind the races' progression
    Money's now my life obsession
    Materialism over making a difference
Its time now to have some resistance

    CHORUS
The Worst of the human nature
Is revered in the new world

    V2:
    The centre of capitalism
Basks in its wealth and glory
Before it all ends and life gets gory
Because what rises must fall in the end
So be prepared for the worst my friend

Why must we now take for granted
What has been given to us?
The life that has to us been handed
Has been snatched from their trust

    CHORUS

    BRIDGE
I look at the lies and deceit and sigh
Paranoia is not the way to make ends meet
But why, why must we take this path
Look at our instincts and you do the math.

    CHORUS

    TRANSITION TO OUTRO

    OUTRO(QUOTE FROM TOOL'S LATERALUS):
    "I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected....
to feel inspired, to fathom the power
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain....
to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human...."

Its a good start. I think you really should write some more for verse 2 and maybe do a bridge or a 3rd verse.

OK! Its all finished. I'm especially proud of the bridge :D , but I HAD to add that TOOL quote (mods if that isn't allowed, even if you give credit to the original author just tell me), because it fit so nicely with what I was trying to convey here as the song progressed.

    Enjoy!
