Hey LPA crew whats up? I was just looking again at your website and i reckon that oone of ur next tasks shud be to change the forums so that it looks like the main site. Dont have to if ya dont wanna but it's just a suggestion. If ya need any help on the skinning, i have some experience on it so let me know if you do.
That's a great idea Mike, but it would make it difficult to keep both of them similar, plus I think it's more interesting to have them look different, but have the common background. Too much of a good thing can be bad
wow mike came back. he hasnt been here in like ages! i got confused after the first post. but i think i understand some of it. make some more skins! yeah do that! make a black one coz that my fav colour nah me jk! the site is kewl now and if u change it in anyway it will still be heaps kewl!
Yeah...it all sounds great... I'll add a bit too... This might take up a bit of time...but Mike said he'll help. So why don't you make some other skins...you can keep this one as a default, but make other skins available for selection too...The people can choose what they like and well...everyones happy. You'll just have to be careful about colouring...contrasts to the main site etc...but besides that...it'll be great to see some other stuff
I'm not sure that we'd be able to do separate skins for every user because that would take up (I think, correct me if I'm wrong admins) too much space on the server.
No its possible...Alex was actually originally planning to have a few more skins in the future and then have the members be presented with a choice as to which skin they'd want to use when they enter the forums(it would be saved or cookied if u prefer for future visits)
it's not a separate skin for every single user. the admin chooses how many he wants to upload then members choose which one they want in their control panel and then their preferance is saved. the skins dont take up that much space... one skin is roughly 150kb at the most. Oh yeah... i'll help out

mike, thanks for the offer of your special skills... but we choose who we want to help out, we have many capable staff members who can do that. if we do need help, don't ask us if we want any, we'll contact you. i know you're suggesting, but you seem a little pushy.
that's an awesome idea! users get to choose their own skin for the board! i would like his color hair ->> for reals, that would be a great idea
