Ordinary day. The day was just as another When Father and Mother came home, like they always did. Ordinary day. The Regular time dinner was served, The food was prepared and sliced nicely. And passed around, as they always did. Ordinary supper. The night came when Dawn had left to rest upon her warm breast, her heart was at it's best asleep. And the night flew as if no one knew! Ordinary evening. The day of mourning came so soon, Nothings changed, aside an autumn gust of dust And the orange leaves never seemed so pleasant Ordinary Seasons. The winter came in a storming might With all Her' coldest frights, the dad took with him, A pretend knife. No monster came that night, little girl laughed away. Ordinary cold. The snow settled as the blanket came over them, The father shoved His way out, pledging to find hope for the snow that came about. Hugged His little girl,so innocent and cried and promised to come back. The night was lonely when the clock struck 1 tonight She turned on a small flash light, looking for her dad But it was empty, he hasn't come back yet Ordinary hope The cold lastings of winter was coming and the sun shone dimly, for weeks of cold had them keenly aware, That the cold had no mistakes in who it'll take. Ordinary stays Where the grass is grown during the spring, The girl reread the papers from two years ago, as the sadness grew inside of her. "MISSING" it said boldly, she felt like she'd suffocate. Ordinary news. Two monthes had passed without a word, a tragedy . She felt so empty as she cried, as part of her had died. The papers tossed as the water was damped in dried tears. Ordinary space. Helpless she was and desperate for word, Mother along side, knowing her circumstance She never had a chance, her 14th birthday. Ordinary day. That night, the coolest spring winds brushed around the trees, a moonlit night. The Images wondered through her head, laying awake in bed. What had happen to daddy, she thought Ordinary thoughts. The wind chimes clanged together harshly as the window was left wide open. She dreamed of praying forgiveness, Return my dad she asked. The Dawn came rising to soon, unhappy with its normal warmth Ordinary day She repeated the same, brushed, washed, changed and ate. She peaked into the Parents bedroom, The dad side was empty still. She walked downstairs, wishing her dad would be home. Ordinary day She walked the Churchyard gates with the grass overgrown. She saw writings on the stones, "A Proud father of two daughters" She looked more through her eyes, watery. Ordinary missing. Her day was fine since she forgotten school to go swing in the park She grieved once more time and said good-by. She walked home depressed, pressed to run. Ordinary escapism. The Spring grass was greener than ever with the cool breeze. the Fence and walkway seemed to stretch, She turned the knob She felt the knob turn for her, as her head looked up slowly the door was open wide, Her mood turned with the tide As her Father opened the door and hugged her, As she finally was so relieved, unbelieving. She cried of happiness, they missed each other so much an unconceivable amount The cloud has set around them, vibrant the emotions but you could see the light in her eyes if only you were coming by and Looking through Her eyes.
