Source: BBC News That is fucked up to the extreme. I used to watch loads of McRae's races when I was younger and he always used to win or make comebacks from mid posistions to win the race. He will certainly be missed if it is confirmed he was on board the helicopter.
His death was confirmed during the Belgium Grand Prix, he will certainly be missed he was an amazing driver. He got me into rally and motor sport when i was younger, he's a British legend

Oh god, this is terrible. Colin McRae was a legend and he'll be forever missed by the world. And his son was with him... there's no words to discribe how horrible that is. RIP to him and his son, condolences to his wife and his daughter.
OMG, that's terrible! They never really air a lot of Rally-Racing here in the U.S., but all the ones I saw with Colin were amazing. The man is a true legend and will be sorely missed. The fact that his son died as well makes it even more horrible.
Yeah I just read his son and his son's friend, both 5 I think, and the father of the other kid were also in the helicopter. A tragedy. RIP to all of them.
