If I remember correctly, there is a handful of us here at the LPA board of who are familiar with the 1990's 3D animated television cartoon series, ReBoot. Furthermore, I'm sure that many of you have heard about the new ReBoot film that is supposed to hit theaters "very soon" ever since the teaser trailer hit back in 2010. However, it appears that the property of ReBoot is being handled in a very misguided demeanor, courtesy of Rainmaker Studios. In detail: -Source In short: - Fans created the buzz around a "revival" idea for ReBoot. - The buzz perpetuated by fans gained enough momentum for the property to be of interest once more. - Rainmaker Studios has given minimum to no credit to original creators Ian Pearson & Gavin Blair. - Original creators Ian Pearson & Gavin Blair has their conclusion to the franchise written - ignored by Rainmaker. - Rainmaker Studios has given minimum to no credit to the fans - and dedicated webmasters. - Rainmaker Studios are full of hot air, and broken promises in regards to the ReBoot property. - Rainmaker are trying to cover up their dirty little tracks all the way home to the bank with whatever scraps of change they manage to take out of the remainder of the franchise. Time will tell if the company, as a whole, will be able to present audiences a completed project. But as insider reports have revealed, this may very well be big fat dud.
