    Roadside nostalgia.

    The stars were bright and the clear moon shined brightly.
    As the paved black roadside roared,
    The sound of a moving car's tires ran over it.

    The lines had gaps, the other line had none.
    The firm rumbling of the engine pressed forward
    Gently as it followed between spotted lines.

    Before the sun had come to rest behind mountains;
    A Recent Late-night feast had finished
    Along with the long-drawn out day of wakefulness.

    The ground curved, and slightly turned;
    The lines were straight, and were shiny.
    None of the passenger's could admire their lightful reflections.

    A toast had been given, A new moon had started a tradition.
    Celebrations were commenced,
    but The moonlit shine gave spiritual bond to each other.

    The empty road was abandoned,
    The night had a cool-dampness to it
    The road roared continually.

    The car drove for miles and miles.
    the Driver never knew that caffeine is a double-edge sword.
    The road winded occasionally.

    The night started with a swig of coffee,
    A swig of condensed moonlit water.
    A room lit with mirrors, moonlit.

    The passenger's faces were flashed by the highway lights.
    A green sign after another, rarely the blue.
    Head against the window, the head-rest, each others shoulder.

    Miles left to go, a mountainous last few.
    The driver bid his last bit more, fore he fought his everlasting enemy.
    Speeding faster to get home quicker.

    The party ended in the toast,
    The warming drink filled the body.
    Smiling at the passenger's peace in sleep.

    Unable to fight, Just woken up from a Freightful dream.
    Seeing the passengers once more
    Seeing the road for once more.
    He fell back asleep with the passenger's who never knew.

    Thoughts? Comments anyone? ^^; Thanks for reading too.
