    Truly a sad story, people shouldn´t throw stuff at the band on their poppiest song just because they played it at a Metal Fest, what´s wrong with doing that? Even some metal bands have softer songs, and these are many examples (check them out if you have time):






    Nightwish definitely has some great metal ballads.

    Epica as well:






    As does Within Temptation:
    This band´s slow songs are simply perfect, Sharon Den Adel´s voice suits just perfectly for this kind of songs.
