My friend Nicole told me about The Apathy Eulogy yesterday and I can't stop listening to them. They're pretty much just straight up indie acoustic rock. They're outstanding. Usually when I hear the word emo I stray away, but I gave them a chance cause your description sounded interesting. I like them. They have decent harmonies.
Yeah. They're definitely not emo unless you consider their lyrics emo. But if you were to go that route, then any band with similar lyrics would have to be emo. And I'm pretty sure, like, 98% of those bands wouldn't come close to being emo anyway. I've just really got a soft spot for acoustic rock. It's so relaxing and really fun to sing along to. Plus girls dig it.
