Some of the acting is iffy, but aside from that small complaint, I'm really into it. I'm surprised by how much AMC lets the show get away with -- especially in episode two.
Just finished 'episode 2: Guts'. Pretty exciting ride so far, and the end was randomly hilarious. I hope this first season turns out to be a solid run.
It's really good, mostly because the majority of zombie films/series have been terrible. It's not extraordinary television. Anybody older than 15 could probably write an equally as engaging script so far.
I'll wait for the whole season to end then download em together. Although I kinda want to just check out the pilot...
Sorry they don't air the show here, and I'm 99.99% sure the box set will never be available either. Even if it does it'll be pirated.
Here's to hoping season 2 has at least twice as many episodes. Kind of a waste of a season imo. Pretty weak plot so far.
The second season is thirteen episodes. Despite it being only six so far, it's been engaging enough for me to want to tune in for when it airs again next year. There's plenty of material yet to be explored that was in the comics, it's also interesting seeing how differently it progresses from the source material. I'm enjoying it a lot despite it not being overwhelmingly ground-breaking.
The show is really interesting. It's pretty good also, though I have to say that so far I enjoy the comics more. I mean, there are just so many stupid things in the TV show. 1. Guns laying around everywhere. They're idiots for not gathering them all up. I'd get as many supplies as I could, it's not I'd have an appointment. 2. CDC. why did Jenner ask if they were infected if he just planned to "painlessly" commit suicide and murder the rest of the cast? *3. Air/Fuel weapon would probably have destroyed their vehicles. and really, I could just go on and on about this. *. This is okay in my book, I mean, suspension of belief. But 1 and 2 and perfectly valid points. Anyway, I really really like the show.
