Yeah, last month I wrote this but heck, I don't think I posted it here.

    Valentines day.

The days before yesterday, as it's being written down
Was a sight, after payday because of our long hours.
I Spotted a young gal, striding along her path on the concrete.
Walking up to her, uninterested she seemed
Maybe she seen my outfit, Oily and unfit to be talking.
Days passed, she seemed just to glorify the term beauty.
Her hair was Brunet, Threaded into perfect natural curls.
Her Eyes were a shock, Deep green that seemed to make souls dive.
A lunch hang out, We arranged.
Valentines day, It pained me to await the earth spinning.
The time spun just as a Dancers twirl, The morning came Dawn's Arrival.
Rushing towards the Flower shop, A brilliant yellow rose held within My hands.
The sun was creeping westward across the sky, I looked at my wrists.
An uncanny resemblance, praising the childhood memories.
I spied the Watch, She was an hour late.
they spoke over their reminiscing memories of childhood, teenage lives.
I knew she was perfect, the food was practically untouched.
I felt my stomach knot; Hungry but lusting to know more of her.
There's nothing to hide, under the strangeness inside of her.
The night strode quickly, We walked out into the cold streets.
I stopped her with a glance of her eyes, puppying with a whisper.
A Kiss We excepted, Except a shove came.
Unknowingly I backed off, as she entered her home with her finance opening the door.
Feeling uninspired, What a pry to the Heart.
That night, I slept alone once more, hoping for another chance for another.

It's not so much a poem rather than a story =]. Any comments or criticism? Id love to hear it.
