    Vindicate Life through Winter’s Strife.

Every thought is changing for me as my time slowly slips away,
I’m staring back at the seeping grey sky, it’s finally morn, today.
Way ward are the clouds that shan’t for pleasure and love stay,
Whimsical is the smoggy dust resting on the swamp, beneath mild sun rays.
The milk white river is among the first signs of winter as the birds fly south,
The little truth, like the adolescent chicks, forgotten in the mendacious drought,
What unfurls from within the cold, dark caves is what the winds have brought,
Seeking a warmer shelter, sometimes failing, the creatures in the torrents caught.
Catching the eye of a forsaken wolf, I look at him as if to say,
“O humble monster! Teach me to last, teach to survive, I plead, I pray”
With no answer, yet answering me directly, none the less, it walks away,
Limping and hurt, the last toe of the right paw’s blood follows its way.
So searches alike every soul, in any form, for a longer satisfaction of the present,
The sun begs for longer days, the moons for haughty crescents,
And mocks itself, as so do I, no matter however I may resent,
I am bound to give in to nature, be it now; I’ll trace my way to heaven.
O Blessed spirits that thrive within the bodies so borrowed!
Lie not to the mist of today, for not shall come tomorrow,
Beyond every bent and broken towering gate are hopes and sorrows,
Fly south in the winter, start right away, for the squirrel sleeps and flies the sparrow.

    suggestions please....much appreciated... ^_^
